Indigenous Child & Youth Mental Health Workers

Staff Contacts_ Shy-Anne and Rachelle.png

Our Child and Youth Mental Health Program supports Indigenous children and youth through one-to-one support, counselling, and culturally based activities in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment. Our Child and Youth Mental Health Workers provide guidance, encouragement, and resources to help children and youth build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen their connections to culture and community, and work through challenges they may be experiencing. Working alongside programs such as Healthy Kids, CWWV, and WasaNabin, our workers help create opportunities for children and youth to participate, build positive relationships, learn about culture, and develop skills that support their overall well-being. Whether a child or youth needs someone to talk to, support navigating a difficult situation, help building positive coping strategies, or opportunities to connect with culture and community, our Child and Youth Mental Health Program is here to provide support and encouragement.
